By and For District 14
Matt Post has called District 14 home his entire life. A graduate of Sherwood High School & Yale Law, he’s never stopped fighting for us: strengthening our schools on the Board of Education, making our community safer in the movement to end gun violence, and defending public education in the labor movement.
Now, Matt’s running to bring new energy to the once-in-a-generation policy challenges facing our state.

Board of Education Member
On the Montgomery County school board, Matt championed career pathways education, expanded mental health resources, secured hundreds of thousands in funding for immigrant students, and got the votes to close school for Eid al-Fitr.

Leader in the Gun Safety Movement
After leading March For Our Lives’s 2018 new voter turnout program, Matt started its legal team, defending the constitutionality of hard fought, common sense gun safety measures all the way up to the Supreme Court.

Legal Staffer for Public Education
In the labor movement, Matt fights for teachers, bus drivers, secretaries and support professionals across Maryland, working to lift wages and ensure our schools have the resources and support they need to uplift every student.
Maryland can only be the best
if we fight for it.
